In search of Apex Energy Bar 832

I want to update my energy bar as my plugs are congested within my unit because some have angles.
I am willing to trade my newer Orange and white label Energy Bar 8 towards purchase.

Overpriced indeed. Made cheaper as it is virtually plastic. Not sure the Price X 2 is warranted,,,,,, that's Apex for you

I have one already. Want the new style as some of my plugs have wuerd angles and are blocking two outlets currently.

They're on sale now, new with warranty. You buy used, you might save 20-40 bucks off the sale price, but most people aren't going to let them go for less than $200. I'd recommend to just bite the bullet and buy with the black friday discount and get the warranty with it.

Funny is sale ends tomorrow and I have very much considered doing just that.

If I do break down and buy new version, I will likely sell my EB8 WHICH is 8 no. Old (new).

Before you commit to getting the Neptune Eb832 please remember that it doesn’t work with the Apex Classic or Apex Jr... only the new wifi models...

The new apex is compatible with both the eb832 and the eb8.

Keyword is TODAY. Act fast and prosper.

This is what I did with my Apex Classics and extra eb8s.

I waited patiently to purchase new Apex kits here or on eBay for ~$650 (which is just $70 less than what you'll pay TODAY because of the 10% deal available everywhere)
That gave me new probes.
I sold my Apex Classics for around $300-350 with the probes that I had. I might have included an extra something that I had kicking around that I wasn't using or didn't need anymore like a wifi router for instance.
I sold my PM2s for about $100 with a probe or included it as a better Apex Classic package and sold it for more.
So to me, the new setup cost $200 with brand new probes.
And if I had extra eb8s to swap out, I would sell them off for around $100 and put it towards an eb832 which comes around here for around $200.

Also for what its worth, I like to purchase from somewhere like fragtastic, brs, saltwateraquarium, aquariumspecialty with a meaningful points program and free shipping. So it could further subsidize the cost of extra eb832s that might be needed. The last one gives a 5x point bonus TODAY.

TODAY an extra eb832 is ~$225 ... and if you had purchased a new apex TODAY you would have $35 worth of points to redeem bringing the cost of an EB832 down to $190.... TODAY.

I forgot to mention, that's $190 - $100 if you have an extra eb8 to sell. So the extra eb832 ends up running you $90 or so after all that.
And as @kalare mentioned you get the benefit of new gear, direct from a reseller, with a full warranty.

Amazon has short 1ft extension cords just for this reason- to be able to plug in larger plugs into an outlet strip. That should solve your problem for very little $$
