Hi guys I’m Nate this is my first time doing a salt water reef tank . I got two clawing fish a few weeks ago and so far so good . One of my fish has a white spot I ask my LFS about this and showed him some pictures he said it was fluke and gave my some prazipro to treat it . So I treaded twice already looks to be gone away . So after it goes away what should I do . Oh yea the spot is by his mouth .

Welcome to Reef2Reef!!

If it looks to have gone away just keep an eye on the fish to make sure it stays healthy. Great job treating your fish!

Hi Nate and Welcome! Glad you joined. Fingers crossed for healthy fish. This is a great Fish Disease, Treatment and Quarantine Protocols recording:

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This might help you find people local to you:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
