Just wondering what’s the best invert for dealing with the green hair algae in my sump. Refugium light spills over into the other chambers where the gha grows. Considering a hermit crab. I hear turbo snails are great but I’m worried about the auto top off switch.

My first suggestion would be trochus snails and install a guard around the float switch. AutoTopOff.com makes some great quality affordable options. Just as good as the Tunze units IMO. Many people will try a sea hare in low flow applications. Maybe the best invert suggestion would be a tuxedo urchin. Also could try a lawnmower blenny, if you are willing / able to put a fish in there.
