I’ve been seeing this little guys here and there for awhile, but recently noticed that they have multiplied quite a bit.

Some seem to live in between the sand and glass, and some live in the back chambers.

Curious if anyone can id this small shelled critter?

Do these guys eat corraline? I’ve noticed some corraline patches that look like it’s been eaten clean in a spot

It seems so, though my tank is full of limpets, and my coralline algae grows way too quickly for them to decimate (assuming they actually are eating any). As the article mentions, diet could vary between species:
Some do eat coralline. They prefer the green algae, but if there is a short supply, they'll eat coralline too. Here's an article on them.
