Is it a sponge?

So this started showing itself after the holidays. It looks like a red metallic color that gets some bright orange spots. I have been keeping an eye on it. Its pretty sturdy as it handles flow really well. It the only spot in my tank that its growing. Someone on a local forum said maybe a macro algae. Not sure. I think its a sponge

Probably red bubble algae. I would take zoas out, get it off and then maybe dip in mixture of water and peroxide for a few and should be fine and not spread.

Hey thank you for the information. Funny how i made a comment on some livestreams on youtube about having red bubbke algae and some people were i never heard of red bubble algae. I have since removed it and keeping fingers crossed that it stays away. Thank you again
