I was looking at the Kung Pao frag at the coral farmer's market this past weekend in orange county CA. Tital garden sells the frag for $150.

A little bit of both. My beach bum which is the same as the Kung pao being they're both (Montipora palawanensis) started to plate out after it ran out of room on the rock. It won't look like other montis. Although I guess you can say it looks more like a shelf than a plate.
