Hello, I recently bought a Hector's Goby and while it is doing great, it keeps going under my Scoly and making it it's home. Is this a problem or can my Scoly tolerate this? I'm trying to figure out before I stress either of them more.

Thanks I'm advance! PXL_20240508_225952259.jpg PXL_20240510_010949276.jpg

Thats such a cute goby!

If scolies are anything like trachyphyllia. Fish living under them don't bother them. Its when they get covered with sand that causes serious issues.

I hope it works out!

Your scoly *should get used to this. If you see it's really stressing out the coral, find an alternative. Do you have any rock in your tank?
I do, but it seems to be working out! My Scoly has puffed up again so I think everything is fine. I was just concerned as this is new to me lol.

Thanks! I love how he swims, it's goofy

Like I said in the other reply, my Scoly is back to it's puffy self so I can see that it's already working out! And thankfully the goby has been moving all the sand away and off the Scoly so it's perfect!

Thanks again for the info guys!
