So what happens to all the eggsNerites lay copious eggs in tanks, but don't really breed in home systems.
Trochus and cerith can and do breed in home systems however. You won't really know about this until you see the miniature versions of them running about.

Geeez its a lot to scrap off... well I hope it will dissolve.Nothing. They just kinda stay there forever. Eventually the alkalinity drops enough they dissolve a bit. Scrape them off your glass, and on the rock coraline will eventually cover them up.
