It looks like Yuma to me. Where did you get it from?

No pro, but I'd say yuma. I had heard that the difference is that yuma's have 'bubbles' around the mouth and florida's don't. Don't know if that is true, but the bulbousness ;) is what I recognize as yuma.

Yup i think Yumas are more fluffy and bubbly than florida Rics, not to mention the price difference also. Nice piece! :D

Do they grow fast compare to Florida rics? tnx

Good info. Thanks Gflat. I was staring into the LFS tank at all the yuma/rics trying to figure out which ones where yumas.

Yep. The Ricorida Yuma has the little bumps in the mouth area while the Ricordia Florida has a smooth mouth area. Thats the easiest way to tell.

Yumas also don't enjoy too much light so make sure you acclimate it properly.. my reddish pink yuma stayed under a crevice for atleast 4 months when I upgraded from PC to MH... good luck with your new Yuma.. what color is it? purplish pink?

I think so. I can't seem to get the colors right in my pics. Its like a dark purple, light purple, pink, and yellow mouth.

I'll move it into the shade. I don't want to lose this guy.
