Definitely looks like dinos. They kicked my butt for 2 months. You can see all the details in my build thread as I tried everything you can imagine.

In short UV sterilizer is the quickest and easiest solution but it's not cheap. Manual removal while raising nitrates and phosphates will help but takes a lot of time and work.

I’d go that route if it fixed it, I’ve just heard that on Nano tanks they’re not as effective(the nano UV sterilizer) do you know of one that is?

It should work regardless of the size of the system. I just used the cheap jebao one I got on Amazon and it worked like a charm

I’ve got a microscope I’ll take some pics of the algae with it tomorrow. Any tips on how to grt rid of it
When you search this blog you'll find 1000s of posts about others' experience with treatment - probably the most popular topic on R2R. Of course, effective treatment is dependent on the species of dino you are trying to manage and many reefers find that dealing with common species such as ovata requires a properly sized UV, dosing h202 at night and a bacteria like Microbacter 7 during the day, syphoning off as much as possible, raising nitrates and phosphates to acceptable levels, etc.

In my limited experience, you may have to try different treatments to find the one that works best for you.

Good luck, it can be a war, not a battle.

What type of dinos would that be? I took some pics under the microscope and posted it. I'll look into it more too

sorry not the best microscope pics. I'm thinking maybe this? I'll try to get a better picture when I get home. Unfortunately the UV would not fix this type.
