That rock scape on the drop off is awesome man!!! Is that a flow pump built into the stand and tank on the drop off, or just an Ecotech stuck on from below? Also, how do you clean the drop off? It's so deep!
I dont mean to sound nasty , but i just cannot see the point of a drop off tank. If it was a drop off , of a couple of feet or so so the depth could go from say 20 inches to four foor with a vertical wall of rock then maybe, but for a few inches , I just dont get it , sorrySince this is custom build and a lot of shop decline to do it.
And finally one day found a old uncle glass maker that willing to take this challenge since no one ever build this in my area.
Old uncle. Draw and show the picture to him also don't understand at all so no choice I have to build one miniature cardboard tank show him
Build one miniature cardboard sump to show the glassmaker

It is not all about practicality. It is visual aesthetics, trying something different, keeping it interesting. I love it though I dont know if my arms are long enough for the drop of practically speaking but that doesnt mean it isnt super cool. I'm sure if money and space was not an issue one could do that. Plus I love builds because they give me ideas of what I may or may not want in the future. Great tank
this is an awesome tank.
What lights do you have currently and what params are you aiming for?
