A couple of months ago I tried to get an ID on these little transparent jelly eggs but to no success, however I did a an RO dip and a few Nudibranch fell off but the eggs didn't look like nudi's. I have noticed that the polyps have not opened for 2 days so I took it out to have a look and see hundreds of the jelly eggs and a new patch of minute eggs also. I have seen a few snails with the small flat shell at varoius times so I was wondering if they are stomatella or unfortunately Marginella?

The last pic is the mass of minute eggs. Any help would be appreciated. This was my first zoa colony I bought back in March so its taken a long time for the eggs to develop since I scrubbed the rock after dipping beginning of May.

I'm not sure if it's pest, could be though.
But this is why I don't place 2 of the same snails in my tank...
The eggs are unsightly, and the baby snails scratch the glass when you clean.
Stomatellas are okay though....

Not my day while having a good inspection I have found this sponge round thing that's hollow inside it's stuck to the side of a Jasmine polyp

Any ideas what this is?
To top my day off I had to remove my little blue tipped orange starfish as he had 2 of his arms eaten off by my new Orange shoulder Tang [emoji22]

The only snails I have ever added were 3 of the ones that dig under the sand and only appear when they get a whiff of food. Only ever seen one of them briefly when my orange spotted Goby dug it up. I can only assume the culprit of the eggs came with the zoa colony just don't know what to do with them keep or get rid. They must be affecting the colony as its been closed for a couple of days but the polyps I have took off and stuck to a frag plug are open and growing nicely.

Sorry not a very clear photo but its definitely a a black snail.
Black stomatella. Not the egg layer.

If some nudibranch fell off my guess would be that those are it's eggs. You need to scrape them off manually and dipp daily in coral-rx or Bayer being sure to inspect and rinse well.
