So I got this marine land 5 gallon portrait tank from my lfs the other day, and decided I would share my experience through the process.

After cleaning it top to bottom I finally got it ready, and assembled my live rock structure. I contemplated doing a bare bottom tank but caved in to the traditional sand bottom.

I’m happy with the turn out, and will get corals in this weekend. I could use some suggestions on a stocking list I’m feeling more of a softy tank due to its size but I don’t know what fish, if any, I should get.
