Hi Everyone, these spots appeared on the rocks overnight. Do you know what they are and whether I should worry about them? Thanks!!

Need white pictures for ID. Sort of looks like the beginning of GHA but need whites on to verify.

If it is GHA then you are about to get a case of the uglys. Every tank gets it as it matures. No need to worry. Herbivores should eat GHA.

Doesn't look like coraline to me. It usually starts in spots and grows outward. The green all over the rocks looks like a green film algae. The brown spots look like patches of brown hair algae.

Herbivores likes tangs, rabbit fish, cerith snails, and trochus snails should eat it and keep it under control.

How confident are you that your skimmer is the right skimmer for your tank?
