Hello,

I'm looking for a fellow hobbyist who can give me useful advice when I'm having difficulties or just plain doubts, and who I can ask at any time. I still have a lot to learn:grinning-face-with-sweat:
I am especially looking for people who have started their tank(s) with with dry stone and/or Modern Reef Nitri-bac and Ammomix preparations.

If you know to yourself and would like a hobby mate, don't hesitate to contact me!

Welcome :) :) !! I think a lot of us fall under those requirements...don't hesitate to ask questions!
Thank you. Well, for the start-up with Modern Reef, I'm mainly interested in experiences such as what are the normal values during the development of the nitrogen-cycle, what to look out for, need to change the water at some point, etc.
I started the aquarium on 26 february with Prodibio Biodigest, then on 12 march I started using Modern Reef on the advice of the specialist in the shop. For the last 2-3 days I have seen algae appearing in small dots on the stones. I use a WRGB led light that runs for 12 hours every day.
Almost all my water values are very high. When using Modern Reef nitribac it says to add Ammomix up to 2ppm, however my nitrite is 0.9ppm, but what worries me most is the nitrate around 40ppm.
The only note on the side of the bottle is to change the water when my pH drops below 7, but I have a pH of 8, so I'm waiting for now because I read that these values will increase a lot, but then drop back down nicely once the cycle is established.

So that's why I'm looking for a partner, who I can PM at any time.
