The 170 is roughly a 2' cube and the lights are just on their standard legs the same as yours. I reckon you could get better results by having them higher and the intensity higher.
I have an RSX200 in the cupboard and will use a hanging kit with that.
I have measured the PAR on this tank, but sadly did not record it anywhere to share with you now.

I’ve been afraid to turn up the intensity on mine in the past for fear of burning corals but I am truly impressed by your success and value your input
