so I know wrasse are hunters and will eat snails and what not but I thought that was curbed as long as you are feeding them enough, I feed my tank frozen food 2-3 times a day and they get pellet 2-3 times a day. However my wrasse is still chowing down on my snail army, is there anything I can or should do that may curb my wrasses snail appetite more?

There really is nothing you can do. Like you said, they are hunters. I had the same problem. Ended up surrendering a wrasse cause he was destroying the invert population.

Yeah, unfortunately it is pretty tough to reprogram a fish to change its' natural diet....hungry or not. If it was that easy, I would have a tank full of dwarf angels in my reef :) Your best bet, if you want to keep him, is to switch to a "stronger" CUC such as urchins, large Turbos, etc.

My melanurus is a chunk and still eats inverts too. Like Waters said you'll need to adjust your CUC. I keep mexican turbos, fighting conchs and large trochus snails with my Mel.
