So I've been eyeing this tiny creepy in my Evo for a while, I first thought they were baby snails, but after watching them they appear to move more crab like. But they are tiny. Impossible to really tell by the naked eye. Whipped out the microscope, but I am no pro at using it. Sorry in advance.

It's creepy up close, looks like a hairy hermit crab.


Ok, so the first I observed didn't appear to be moving, but it was crawling with other things. Super creepy.


Then I added a couple more to the slide and caught these 2.


Here's a photo of them on the slide to really get a sense of their actual size.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
