So I just wanted to share my new build. I'm pretty stoked about it. I'm downsizing from a 80 gallon.

I'm going for a more natural look.
Here is the progress so fare.

Awesome tank!
I am on the same (or almost the same) boat; downsized from 65 gallons to 12 gallons (24x14x8,5" - dimensions quite similar to UNS60S). I'm running bare bottom, but the look is not quite natural. What sand did you use and do you have any issues with sand blowing in such shallow tank? Did you put mangroves in some container buried under the sand?I'm also considering adding some mangroves in mine, but not sure if it's possible. I'm using ATI fixture so there is not so much free space between wateer and lamp.

Thanks.
Well the sand definitely limits the amount of flow possible. I use one of the heavier types of live sand - can't remember the brand.
I had a nano before with BB and mangroves, but the mangroves died due to lack of nutrition in the water.
I do have them in a container with some sort of miracle mud, they look happy so farer.

Very nice BB tank, I took some precautions and used white veneer under the bottom of my tank to limit a glassy look and reflections, but still it's not the most natural look:)

Isn't that kessil a complete overkill over that nano?
100% true. I wish I had bought two a80 instead. I was surprised about how much noise the a360x makes. The fan I just on all the time on a max even when the light is at 1%... so strange

Nothing special yet, I'm planning a complete rescape, but not decided how it should look like.

Very cool.
Love the big structure. Are you planning on adding more rock, or are you sticking with the minimal look?
I also don't see any flow pumps?

Probably I need more rock to place rest of the corals (don't like any corals lying randomly on the bottom of the tank), but also don't like too much rock so that is a major problem with the planned rescape :)
Yes, the tank is running without any flow pumps, only return pump in AiO department, it's Jebao 2500, runnig 55% now. The tank is anemone proof now, at least I'd hope so.

I think the look you have right now is super cool. Maybe add a small bommie for the rest of the corals.
I would think that your gonna need more flow, but don't know, maybe it's enough.

Thank you,
I have some rock from the previous tank, some hammer and chisel work and it should be ok (for some time ofc)
I am also not sure if the flow is enough, but corals placed on the bottom are easily moved by return pump itself.
I am also debating my light setup, almost 100W from 4x24 fixture is a bit overkill. Starting today, I am testing 2x24 w setup with a futere plan on adding blue led bar
