Well it's based on height and desired spot size..To provide intermittent light down to Corals that require higher light levels. I plan on turning it On and Off through out the lighting periods, via plug in timer(s). It’s a 30W Blue COB LED, mounted on a Heat Sink, with a Fan. I did some research on the Internet, but can’t find any information on what angle a focusing lens to use. BTW, It cost $81.18 to make this set up, will cost an extra $62.00, to add a second 10,000+K COB LED Assembly, to this Project Box.
Use this as a guide:I need to know if I need a Focusing Lens, the only ones I saw were 40 Degree ones. Also how would I figure out what Degree I need?
Surprising, fleabay is full of lenses/chips that are not 40 degrees..the only ones I saw were 40 Degree ones.
