Still a work in progress, Plan on adding another 30w COB LED. Only going to run it an Hour at a time. Glass or Acrylic for a Lens?

Glass is nice. More transparent to uv if you have any uv leds in there.

I need to know if I need a Focusing Lens, the only ones I saw were 40 Degree ones. Also how would I figure out what Degree I need?

To provide intermittent light down to Corals that require higher light levels. I plan on turning it On and Off through out the lighting periods, via plug in timer(s). It’s a 30W Blue COB LED, mounted on a Heat Sink, with a Fan. I did some research on the Internet, but can’t find any information on what angle a focusing lens to use. BTW, It cost $81.18 to make this set up, will cost an extra $62.00, to add a second 10,000+K COB LED Assembly, to this Project Box.

Well it's based on height and desired spot size..

There is no " one" answer

Use this as a guide:
Things are different through water but a general idea:

Maybe I should add some clarity (hopefully).
Keep in mind that the above 32.97" off the bottom means stuff higher up from there gets even more intense light.
Using the above and assuming a 24x 24 wide/deep tank the water surface to lens distance would be approx 9"
and project a 6.5" spot on the surface. You would most likely have a "burner" at just below the water surface in that 6.5" circle.

If you wanted overall coverage, from surface to substrate with a 40 degree lens on a 24" wide surface your
height would be around 32.97" from there..
Light would be "trained" as you go down so your par would be sort of evened out over the 24" depth.

I had to. Swap out the Glass for Thin Polycarbonate. 1.6mm x 9.5cm x 18.5cm. Due to the Glass Cracking from support problems.

Got off my butt, and did my Third Build. Each one gets more sophisticated and easier to work on. WAGO’s are Super Glued to the Corners of the Box, after an Alcohol wipe down. Used a Wago Laying against the Polycarbonate Splash Shield, as a Spacer.
