OK So I am starting this thread to track the progress of my new build.

Its is a 300 Gal 48" x 48" x 30" 300 gal cube. It is going to be a mixed reef.

I am going to do things a little different, I am going to have 2 Brute 45 gal trashcans and the main sump area in the room behind the tank. They will contain the heaters, skimmer and be the intake and output for a BRS dual media reactor with just carbon. A Bio Pellet reactor feeding to the intake of the skimmer.

Above the main sumps I will have a 45 gal tank for just cheato and other algaes, plus an Amphipods-Copepods breeding ground.

Next to the big tank I am going to put a spare 75 gal tank and have it as a display sump with a very deep sand bed, mangroves and fancy algae (Colorful), with a few fish, like pipe fish etc.

This will all be controlled by the Apex with as many modules as I can squeeze on it. LED Lights on everything to try to keep the cost down, a dosser and auto water changes (About 2 gallons a day)

Total water volume should be 515 gallons minus sand, rock etc.
