I moved the couch back a little and got a wider shot. Most of the things displayed are marine fossils (mostly fish). The whole idea is that tank is the focus of a larger display on this wall.

Fossils, crystals, gemstones, mementos, and other nick-nacks collected over my lifetime are displayed on the shelves - each with their own back story...

Wow!!! In addition to some amazing woodworking, this was a very informative and educational video! This is definitely worth watching for anyone that has any interest in working with wood!

Jason I just stumbled upon your build. As you know it is awesome. Reminds me of a large piece of furniture we brought back from Europe. I love the canopy. My problem is that I have a tank already setup. I have been considering a canopy lift for several years. I just don't see how to do it without completely tearing down the existing tank. Unless I can talk hubby into letting me remove a section of the homes siding! I could then get to the back of my tank. Great job. Wish me luck, I could just tell him a car crashed into the home.........
