Hey everyone have had a Naso tang for almost 2 months and he has all a sudden resting on the bottom up against a rock and has his dark colors out like he usually does at night. He did eat around noon and now at 5 pm acting lazy any ideas?

Fins look really rough. Is it getting beaten down by the other tangs? My sailfin is a mean mother. I’d keep an eye on it.

The the tangs seem to like each other and don’t pic on each other much. But the blue jerk damsels have become spawn of the devils and bites fins I would pay for someone to get them I have put hours into attempts and ever have any luck.

Have you tried getting them after lights out? Wait at least two hours after the tank lights and room lights have been off. Use a small flashlight and shine it into the eyes of the fish. Keep the light on the eyes. It will mesmerize them making it easy to net them.

I can’t see for sure but I suspect ich as well, but it’s hard to tell with naso as they discolor so easily.

I agree the fins are damaged from bullying, damsels can be little devils for sure :(

As mentioned he's looks beat up, the stress of being chased and nipped could be taking its toll.

those white pigments on the skin and dark color means its angry. either due to stress in tank from other tank mates or parasite. either or it needs to be isolated in order to determine the issue.
