Hi All,
Well, it's my own fault but I have red slime algae growing. It came on fast but I guess I caused it by putting too much Coral Frenzy in my tank.
I did a huge water change Saturday and a smaller one yesterday. It looks like one of my tank inhabitants, probably the purple urchin because big swaths are gone over night.
I tested the parameters this evening and they appear to be normal...even phosphate at almost zero.
So will I eventually starve it out if I keep phosphates and Nitrate/ite non existent? About how long does it take if so or should I take other action?
Thanks in advance,
Sean
