Ok so I have a 65 gal tank 3’ wide x 24” roughly and 23” deep. No canopy. Wet dry bio ball sump system underneath. Hang on back overflow system and non drilled (wish I did before setting up lol). I have 2 wavemakers pushing 650gph each in tank. Still curious as to best placement for those lol. Misis cubes feeding it moves around pretty good some start to settle down lower but not too bad. I have one on the right side towards the back pointing up so the top water flow is moving good and other one on the left is more near left side center pointing towards back wall. I have about 50lbs of live rock so far want more. I have a center plastic brace and getting an led light and didn’t know if I could remove that brace and replace some type of glass or acrylic but if not I guess I’ll just have a nice shadow down the center. I’m getting a viparspectra 165w. Anything I should change up so far? I’m going to hang lights 12” over water line to start. I’ve never had any led lights so just going to wing it I guess. I’ve got a large rainbow bubble tip I’ve got on stand by when I get my lights for my newly added pair of clowns

The brace is structural and prevents bowing
It will not have a high impact on lighting

2 x 650gph powerheads provides you a max of about 20x turnover in the tank (650x2/65=20). IMHO, that is nowhere near enough. You should consider at least doubling that to 40x or more, especially for the anemone.

As for placement - On my 120DT I use a pair of Gyre 250s on the back glass on either side of the center overflow, a pair of Koralia 1500gph PH's on the back glass in either corner ~ 1/3 of the way down and pointed up and towards the center, and a pair of Korali 850gph PH's on the either side all the way to the back and near the bottom pointed behind the rockwork to prevent any dead spots.

Finding what works best for your particular system can take time and some trial and error.
