New check came with scratched up cuvettes

So I got new HR nitrate checker and came with two cuvettes that scratched up? Can you guys send out replacements or how is this work?

another question does the laser shine through side way? So if the scratch is right by the “10ml” mark, should I turn it at a certain way to avoid any obstructions?

Weird. That's the exact opposite experience as I've had with them... I've emailed them a couple times over various issues and they've always gotten back with me and made things right.
