Is there anyone in the Groton/New London area willing to look over my newly established tank. I really could use some pointers...

Thanks!

There's a new, great shop in Bridgeport called Maxreef...Norm is the owner @ 2036901995...check my post under Connecticut Reef Clubs...also you may want to join one of the reef clubs in your area...if you call Maxreef, tell them Ken from the Catskill Reef recommended them...the place is a treat...:)

Max Reef is also a CTARS sponsor.

You can also check out Shoreline Pet & Aquarium out of Old Saybrook..another CTARS sponsor.

Yup that's the start of algae. Did you cycle the tank before stocking it? Also, what is your current stock list ?

I have couple coral and about four fish with some cleaning crew. It's a 54 gallon corner. Yesturday I started seeding with bacteria. Everyone was moved from. Bio cube to the new tank.

Just installed a SC-3o1 protein skimmer to me pro flex model 1 sump(return section). Everything is working fine, expect now I'm getting a small amount of micro bubbles being pushing to the display tank.

Will is resolve its self once the skimmer is broken in?

Any advice?

All though I'm in Florida now for years... Love seeing Mystic, Groton and New London mentioned. Grew up in CT just wanted to shoutout to my fellow nutmegers. Just wanted to say hi...
