Hello everyone. I am new to R2R and new to this hobby. I started keeping a nano reef because I saw a cute little 6 gallon JBJ NC on the countertop of my LFS every time I went in. I have a dog and a few cats so my visits were frequent to the LFS. I would spend extra time looking and admiring the corals, fish and especially the miniature reef! I took the plunge and got my 12 gallon JBJ at that same LFS. This was six months ago and I have become addicted! Here are some pictures.

Thank you, Mike&Terry! Now if I could only figure out how to correct my mispelled words on the original post! I am sure I am missing something really easy! LOL:tongue:

There is a 5 minute window to edit a post. PM me with what you want to correct and I'll take care of it for you.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! :grouphug:

Terry, thanks for fixing the spelling in the title. I would ask that you also fix R@R to R2R in the OP. This is where my lack of typing skills and ADD are going to catch up to me!:nerd:

Here are some pics of my first corals: Then and Now

Looking good Welcome to R2R!!

Wow, I do love your tank. Wish I had your zoos,

Thanks for the welcome, AsphaltPays. :)

Betroc2, If I ever frag some of those Zoas successfully I will have some for trade! I tried cutting some off the rock and botched it. The rock is so hard I could not get under the Zoa mat so I wound up cutting into the polyp. :( Which ones do you like? When I try again (with bone cutters this time) I will go for those. :) Thanks for the complement!

It is my pleasure and privilege to be here! :) Thanks for letting me join the party.

Very cool! And very beautiful. I love your citron goby.

He really is adorable. I never new I could grow so attached but Skipper is really easy to love! <3

Ha, eitallent, what is the bright yellow coral in the 7th pic down on the far right bottom? Great tank.:clap2:

That is a yellow ball sponge I call Cheese Puff! At the time I bought him I was unaware that these guys are hard to keep. I got it some Oyster Feast, MicroVert and hopefully it can get some bacteria from the water column. It seems to do well.

Cheese Puff is growing algae for hair. I really do not have enough shade for him.

Here is Skipper in his usual perch where he keeps watch over his domain.
