Hey there everyone,

I've been hovering these forums for a while now. Planning my build, learning about everything, eventually executing my build, cycling my tank, and now finally with some livestock.

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi! I'm from Kingston, Ontario, and have been interested in saltwater tanks for a long time. For years I have been reading forums, and admiring everyone's set-ups. Unfortunately I never had the room for one, and financially it wasn't a smart move to attempt to start one. At the beginning of this year, things started to line up and come together and I figured it was finally time, and I couldn't be happier. I'm obsessed. It's so addicting. I only have two clowns, some red-legged and blue-legged crabs, a conch, a Halloween crab, and a few Nassarius snails, but I could watch them for hours. Hopefully getting some corals soon and can start to add some more color to the display!

I will try to add some pictures of my tank, stand, sump setup etc. I'm currently working on finishing the canopy still, so don't mind the unfinished top :p I spent some extra time on the stand trying to make sure it was acceptable and matched the home decor for the wife. I had some plans for the sump plumbing to make it look super "cool", and then my 3 year old daughter said she really wanted pink, so I'm sure you can all take a guess as to what color my plumbing is...

I'm all about DIY and making things rather than buying, I love that aspect of this hobby. It's fun to experiment and see what works and what doesn't, and how quickly you can make it right if something doesn't work lol.

Anyways, hope to hear from you all soon, and hopefully I will be able to give insight soon on my experiences what I've learned and help others out. Glad to be a part of this with you all behind me!
