Hello everyone, my name is Sean and I’m from the Los Angeles area.

I’ve been into reefing on and off since the late 1990s, taking a hiatus from the hobby in 2004 to focus on our kids.

I currently have a well established Red Sea Reefer 170 and I just picked up a used Red Sea Max S650 to replace a Red Sea Reefer 350.

I have quite a bit of equipment I’ve been hoarding over the last 6 months including an Apex A3, Trident and a Red Sea Reef Mat that I’ll be installing on this new build. With any luck the 650 will have water in it by this weekend. My fish are temporarily being housed in a 75 gallon system that someone gave to me which will become an African Cichlid tank after the big swap is complete.

I look forward to participating on the forum and trading frags with local reefers!

Oh boy are they are a lot higher. I remember when yellow tangs were an entry level fish at the $15 price point.
The corals are even crazier imo! Lucky I'm not in the States though so I don't have to deal with as much of the marketing and it pays to be much closer to the source.
