old eb8 for new system

can i use the old eb8 for the new wifi apex system or it only support eb382?

You can use any Module with the 2016 Apex that uses AquaBus as a form of communication with Apex system. To answer the question yes you can use an EB8, EB4, or EB6 (international energy bar)
