dude your tank is awesome!

Thanks very much folks. I had a "perfect storm" with everything from chemical leeching to AEFW & monti eating nudis. My display was completely wiped out and I lost pretty much everything but the fish. As luck would have it in Dec 2011 my fish got velvet and I lost about 50 or so. I was able to keep things going in my prop tanks with new stock until the display was finally ready for corals again, it sat without any sps my about 10 months in 2011.

I'm so glad to see you back Greg. I had a similar situation happen to mine, but just my fish. I've torn down the 225g and now have a Leemar 335g.
I say it was a curse put on us both. (wink)
Do you ever come down to Salt Lake still?

Hey Brad - long time no see. Although I have been travelling to the States for many years I just got refused entry last month and "flagged" for an old possession charge from 1977 so I am working to get that resolved but unfortunately it will likely be awhile before I get to Salt Lake again. I had to cancel my trip to Macna for later this month as well. I'm paying for foolish mistakes I made when I was 18 (35 years ago)
Sorry to hear you had problems with your fish.

Thanks very much. I will try to visit more often and not let another two years lapse between updates.

Thanks but when I wrote that two years ago my corals were dropping like flies. Things finally seem to be sorted out so I can start growing my reef back.

the tank already looks nice now... can't wait for another year worth of growth and coloring. 1smile1
