We all have an area in our reefs that really shines. Maybe it's because the coral grouping is attractive, the colors look great together, the aquascaping is exactly what you want, or some other factor.

As a new photo challenge, post one photo of that area of your reef that really stands out for you. It could be just one rock, it could be as much as half of the aquarium. No full-tank shots in this thread. If you think your whole reef is outstanding, then choose the best part of that outstanding reef. Only one photo per reef. Force yourself to choose the best portion of your aquarium. Have multiple aquariums? Then post one photo for each. One more thing: Correct the white balance and get the photo in focus. Blurry, blue shots are not appealing.

Get your cameras out, take some pictures, and lets see if we can get 50 shots of great portions of our reefs by the end of the week.

I'll start the posting by showing my favorite scene from my softie reef.
