Anyone have experience with a culture of phytoplankton crashing but then it suddenly springs to life after? This batch was dead for days and now its lush and green. Any thoughts?

I know this is an old thread, but I am currently in this situation. Had a culture crash, but while waiting for a new power head and heater to arrive from amazon so I could have dedicated equipment only for culturing as to avoid cross contamination, it suddenly seemed to spring back to life and is becoming green again. If it reaches the nice neon green on good phyto, would it be safe to harvest like normal and use?
