My tiger pistol shrimp has been a model citizen for the past couple of months and suddenly he’s gone rogue!

So I have two main rock structure areas in my 120g. He and my yasha goby had paired up immediately and he built an elaborate home under the biggest rock structure with at least 10 openings they would pop out of.

Now he’s on the other side, left the goby, and is stealing frags! I swear he nipped at/ate part of my dragon soul favia frag (I found it upside down at the entrance of his new hole... very damaged on one side and slimy around the edges). He stole a mushroom frag and caused it to detach too!

What gives?! Anything I can do to make him go back to the goby? Another pistol shrimp? Lol is this normal?!

Sounds like a normal tiger pistol. Try target feeding it a bit more if its picking at corals. My pair almost took out an RFA picking at it.
