With an alkalinity close to 9dkh- its very important to keep nutrients slightly elevated, sounds like yours are on the floor, stag pictured shows what looks like alk burn

What kind of lighting are you using in the tank? I can see it in the picture, but not enough to determine the manufacturer.

I would look at lighting. It isn't enough to light the tank, you have to light it with enough intensity. I have a lux meter so I look for about 8-10k lumens at the bottom of the tank.

I would also look at flow. 200 gallons is a big tank, so you may want to add some power heads or perhaps plumb in a closed loop for circulation.

I believe you are looking at the wrong picture. The op did not have any pictures of their lights in their post.

There is also no mention of the tank being 200 gallons.

Kessil 360

That's a start but need to know tank size, distance from light to water surface, settings you are using on spectrum and power levels/intensity, how long the lights are running each day etc..

Whenever you have a question or would like others to assist the more information the better.

With regard to your nutrient levels. How many fish, how often do you feed, what do you feed with??

Do you dose anything into the tank? if so how often and how much?
