I found that low light will bring out the best colors on all the Mummy Eyes

BTW that is one sexy looking frag!!!

Thanks! I had put in a special request for one to be found out at the CFM and one was nicely located by one of our sponsors and then shipped to me!

Wait is the Oringinal Mummy Eye and Oregon Mummy Eye the same thing? I see OME posted a lot but never know which they are talking about!

No most people these days reefer to the Original ME as the "Exotics Mummy Eye" since they introduced it into the hobby and the Oregon as OME

My Meng's. Shot from back and front. It is about the diameter of a golf ball now. The green on this glows compared to my original ME.

Decent growth. Got it as a small frag maybe 1 year ago? It now has 6 eyes and is the diameter of a golf ball. I keep it shaded from the halides.

Beautiful pieces!!!

I know from personal experienece, and have heard from others, that the original ME gets kinda yellowish in too much light. Same with these two, or no?

I have mine growing under a ledge where it gets indirect light and keeps that nice metallic neon green with orange eyes. Currently it sits about 10" from a 150w 20k halide DE

Is it safe to assume almost everyone has 20K lights? I am kinda new to chalices and coming from SPS i think mine are just too yellow to keep the same crazy colors the rest of you guys do.
