Tank is new so I'm going through some uglies. I have some hair algae but then I have this stuff. Looks kinda like a fern, what is it? Just more hair algae?

That pretty algae is also known as bryopsis, it’s part of the nightmares of many reefers.

Thanks for the bad news, doesn't seem so pretty now. Should I try to see if it resolves itself in such a new tank or should I just do the flucanazole treatment and hopefully be done with it?

Flucanazole seems a viable option at this moment
