What is hard with a fish like this is the ability to see spots and other disease.
has anything changed such as foods, temperature?
What is current salinity-ammonia and nitrate level?
is it breathing normal or elevated?

They tend to curve/bend their tails when stressed, same with mapa and sapo puffers.
This may be caused from netting injury and trauma of shipping.
How was fish acclimated and how are you testing the water?
Have you tried live food such as ghost shrimp to see if it responds to going after it?

I believe he was acclimated by just floating and I have not tried live foods yet but he is also in a 180g with other fish should I put him in his own q tank for now?

My Porcupine puffer lays on the sand all day. Then he hides under a rock. He has been in my tank for 2 weeks. He comes out when I hand feed him. He eats a lot.
