Nice. Interesting you’re under driving them so much. I’m running 2x250 watt hamilton 14k with sb reef actinic LEDs. What kind of par are you delivering to most of those acros? How do you like the growth?

So prior to this I had a 400 watt radium but the par just wasn't enough. It was a single 400 radium in a cozumel sun reflector over a 36x36x27 tank. Par was MAX 300 at the top of my rock.

I was considering adding t5 for more par, then I had the idea to underdrive the hamilton bulb. It looks identical to a radium at this wattage and par is now 450 at the top of the rock and 250 anywhere on the sandbed.

Love the low rock work in the tank. I have the same tank and debating setting it up again, I used to much rock in it last time. I used two 400w radiums over the tank last time and loved it.

I considered running two but just seemed easier to try one bulb!
