Hello. I need some advise. I went to my aquarium shop and fell in love with a JBJ 45. It comes with the tank, stand, Zaya lights, protein skimmer, heater, a box of live sand and 50 gallons of water for $1000.oo. Is that a fair price. What would be the going rate for a set up like this? Thanks for your help in advance.

I don't know the Zaya lights but between the tank and stand I paid 475 live sand will cost you about 20 or so for 22 lbs. a heater you can get for less than 75.00 so. I paid $145 for my skimmer and you can buy them for 105.00 ( a Tunze) so you figure. I don't know how much sand your getting or what they charging you for water and so on

Yea that seems alot. Why by water? Get a bucket of salt and ro filter your good to go. I would look in to marine depot. I got my 30gallon rimless there. Stand sand and test kits as well
