Hello reefers! I was watching my New male bangai cardinal at night (Just making sure he wouldn't fight with the female) when i Saw some tiny dark bugs over my feather duster, i started to look better at the corals and Saw It ALL over them, torchs and frogspawns (that were looking bad these last weeks) some sps (some acros, digitata, stylophoras), leathers and even os my palythoa and zoas, does anyone knows what is this, if it's attacking my corals or just a random critter that happens to have really liked my tank.... I've dipped all the euphilias and sps, but ended breaking the feather duster tube trying to clean it when I got really desperated seeing then all over my corals. Any help is welcome! My corals looks really good at day, just the euphilias weren't looking really well these days. 20230604_23_52_16.png 20230604_23_52_51.png 20230604_23_53_12.png 20230604_23_53_20.png 20230604_23_53_57.png

They don't go over the euphilias tentacles, just the "white meat" over the bone, but they go all over the other corals

I will get a dragonet then, any idea what these may be? I think they kind of look like ostracodas

I sent some to a marine biologist friend and she identified them as really behind ostracodas, she said she couldn't identify what they were eating, but wouldn't be weird if it was coral mucus... I got a valentini puffer and a spotted mandarim and have never see it again after a week.

These look to me like ostracods also called grass shrimp. Black mollies eat them like candy
