Hello gang,

Finally pulled the trigger on a 850. Current setup is a 300XL. Pretty much going all Red Sea products.Been happy with them so far. Tank has been up fpr 1.5
Current stock is a sailfin, Melenarus, 2 yellow cories, pink spot goby, 4 chromis, six line, royal gramma, 2 firefish and a stary blenny. All healthy as a horse.Various corals, hammers, a slimer, stylophora, forest digita, 2 rock flowers, zoas, montipora and some green star polyps.O yea, beach bum and Jack o lanter lepo and couple of candy canes and war coral.

I plan to do new sand and add more Caribi sea rock.Im leaning towards oolite, which I currently have.

Should be starting this build in January.any tips for a smooth transfer. Unfortunately I have to put the new 850 in the same area as the 300. So I'm doing an immediate move in.

Now for the experts here, please share best advice best practice.I would love to brain storm the knowledge you all have.

Oyea I do have a refugium with sea lettuce growing like crazy.

Well, today was the day.Long day but it's set up. Tommow with be some wire management and putting the controls on the panel..Such a pain, but my OCD is killing me. I literally had to shut my brain off.Still need to rearrange some coral.

More pics to come

Slowly getting there.Had my local fiah store set it up.SM,no critical thinking to wore management. I'm beat been tinkering for 2 days.Ill deal with the wires later. So far corals are happy, good polyp extension.Must be the new sand.

Quick questions guys, would my Ca and KH change now that I have a larger body of water.I haven't tested yet on this one.

More pictures tanks has been up for 3 weeks no casualties. I suffered no fish losses from last tank. I have recently added over the 3 weeks a small blond naso, four lyretail one male and a foxface.

Hello Really great project. What I think is great is that you use RedSea products. I also have a Peninsula 500 from RedSea. The RedSea aquariums are currently being totally disparaged in our Swiss-chat. They are bad products and (almost) every aquarium will have a leak. I've had mine for 5 years and am very satisfied. It's like new and shows no signs of leaking.Have fun with the aquarium project.greetings from Switzerland
