Help! Red slime has taken over my tank in less than 2 weeks.
I recently had an issue with a leaky water mixing/ro station so I’ve been buying my top off water from a lfs.
My stats are
Nitrate: 20 ppm
Phosphate: 0.5 ppm
Calcium: 420
Alkalinity: 8.6
Magnesium: 1230.
29 gallon biocube 5 gallon water change twice a month. No sump but I have a hob skimmer. I run charcoal in filter sock. I feed Lrs frozen food.
What else could I be doing?
Also everything started to close up cause I wiped slime off the glass to take a picture

If it is indeed red slime, I love this product. It's worked for me every time and is reef safe

do a water change
clean the substrate
feed less for a couple days
and another reason ive heard from people is that the lighting can either be too strong or too weak
