Reefer 250 Build. 15 years away from the hobby but I am back

What a change. Tank is coming up on 20 months old.. This really did not take off until I started follow theReef Moonshine process. I am OG reefer from back in the 90's and just let the reef grow and do its thing. Coral are encrusting on coral. No high dollar name coral and most of them are hand me downs or bought in the $15 discarded pile at the LFS. All but 2 were 2 inch or smaller frags. During the winter storm here in Texas lost power for 5 days and it took months to recovery so not telling how much more growth and color I would have had. Anyway want to share. Thanks Andre Mueller for you advice and laying the Moonshine process it works

Thanks brother.. Your comments put a smile on my face for sure. Sharing my build was maybe help someone and help me look back and learn some things my self. I have most everything I have in spreadsheets and have documented pictures the progression and sometimes recession. Again thanks ready and commenting

Love my ClariSea. It will pull out some junk. Been running the return valve completely closed to filter 100% of the return water. I still got 1 month 20 days out of it. With it a ¼ open get about get well over 2 months. Tank is super clear and got worry about them pain the butt filter socks. The pic of the corals...yes there is water in there...

Nutrients are I do run a skimmer as well as carbon. Skimmer works really at pulling the dissolved organics out. I do water change every 6 months or so. Running Reef Moonshine process so supplementing elements Nutrients running
No3 10.0 and Po4 .08

Hey all thanks for all the comment's over the years on this thank. I now have tore it down since we have sold the house moving to south Texas. Will be building a new house and of course a new tank will coming up as well. Will putting a build thread up then. Happing reefing everyone
