Replacing nano 28g HQI MH with xr15 too hot?

Im rigging my jbj nano hood to hold an xr15 instead of the MH. Any thoughts on if the MH fans will be enough to clear the heat of an xr15?

I'm guessing that the MH is way hotter, but you're going to want to mount the XR15 like 10" off the water to get decent coverage.

Yeah the coverage is a question... it’ll only be about 4” off the water... it might work well to give me some higher areas with lower light on the fringes.
