Hey,

I've read a number of posts regarding fragging using a wet saw. I just got an Inland and plan on cutting my first frags soon. I've seen some people say to just use RO water, I've seen others say tank water, and others say it depends on what you're fragging.

So, my question is, what do YOU do? What types of Coral should use what type of water? Should it just always be tank water? how do you keep the saw well maintained using saltwater?

Any and all input is welcomed.

Marc

RO is better for the saw by far.

Tank water a little easier on the animals.

I would stick with RO, and be sure to rinse it all really good when youre done.

I always use tank water and put a drop of Lugols in with it. If I am cutting colonies of acans I dont use water at all. Typically they are plenty wet enough.

Tank water is best for the corals, but bad for saw. RO is best for the saw, but bad for the corals.
