Hi all, I recently bought a sea hate to eat the hair algae in the tank. It was doing really well and seemed to get rid of most of it. This morning I woke up and noticed it was dead. Could it have run out of food in the tank?
Thanks for your input.

There are many species of sea hares (Dolabella auriculariais the only one I know that has been reported to eat hair algae)... from what I've read and researched, they only live for about 16 months in wild and much less in captivity...

So the question is how old was it, keep in mind that you'll never really know how old it was if it was caught in the wild (psss... most are, lol).

Well, there's that. Had no idea they had such a short life span. Thanks for the input.
