Could I get some help on how much to dose as a starting reference.

This is the product I will be using.

Sodium Phosphate Monobasic 8 Ounces 1 Bottle

I have approximately 40 gallons of water which equals about 151 liters and would like to raise the phosphate by 0.01 ppm.
So it would be:
151 * 0.01 = 1.51 mg.

So 1 gallon = 3.78 liters.
1.51 * 3.78 = 5.6 mg.

So if I mix 5.6 mg into 1 gallon of water and dose 1 mL of it, it should raise the tank phosphate by 0.01ppm?

Couple points.
You need to take into account the sodium and hydrogens in the molecule.

And you'll never accurately weigh out 5.6mg.

I would use this calculator and select the entry for potassium phosphate. It tells you to make a dosing solution, and then how much of that to use.

It will be somewhat off for the product you are using, but that matters little as exact dosing is not needed. You will likely need to use much more than calculated.

Yeah the plan is to just get a ballpark area and adjust as needed.
