Need help. I just noticed this strange macro algae looking stuff in my tank. It's on one rock with a heavily encrusted stag on it, so I can't do too much with the rock. It sorta grows like zoas, but looks and feels like caluerpa. Any ideas?

Guess it would help if I read the entire post. Dis-regard last post unless you needed an ID for the red coralline.

It's hard to tell from the cell phone pics, but it's not bubble algae. I've dealt with bubble algae on new frags this is definitely different. It. Looks like zoas. I think I'm going to remove the rock. Pick off the the algae and blast it with vinegar or maybe kalk paste
